Working as a Customer Services agent is a tough role. You’re often confronted with challenging situations, problems and issues – and you’ve got to listen, adapt your style, problem solve and resolve the issue whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.

So, from time to time, it’s worth consoling yourself with the words of some of the greats;

“Do what you do so well that they will want to see it again and bring their friends”

Walt Disney

“There is only one boss. The Customer. And he can fire everyone in the company from the chairman on down simply by spending his money somewhere else”

Sam Walton

“Your unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning”

Bill Gates

“We see our customers as invited guests to a party, and we are the hosts. It’s our job every day to make every important aspect of the customer experience a little bit better.”

Jeff Bezos

“The Customer should be at the heart of every decision, company-wide.”

David Jones ;0)

“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so.”

Mahatma Gandhi

“Statistics suggest that when customers complain, business owners and managers ought to get excited about it. The complaining customer represents a huge opportunity for more business.”

Zig Ziglar

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echos are truly endless.”

Mother Teresa

“Customer service shouldn’t just be a department, it should be the entire company.”

Tony Hsieh

“One customer well taken care of could be more valuable than $10,000 worth of advertising.”

Jim Rohn
