Hi its Sean from Frontline Telephone Answering Service. I thought I would do another series of blogs, this time the blogs will be based around the basics to answering a calls.

1. Don’t rush when you talk and remember to be enthusiastic!

Have you been in a situation where you have called a company and you’re not sure who you are talking to or what department they are in? The reason for this problem is because some operators will talk very quickly or if they are not enthusiastic will answer the phone mumbling making it hard for customers to understand what is said. The caller should leave the conversation feeling that you are happy to help! Not that they have inconvenienced you!
